An Apopka woman claimed the top prize after purchasing her winning ticket at a Publix store.

ORLANDO, FL — An Orange County woman is celebrating after claiming a $1 million prize from the Florida Lottery’s $1,000,000 CASH STACKS Scratch-Off game.

Jean Olsen, 63, of Apopka, claimed her prize at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee on July 1, according to a Florida Lottery news release issued Friday.

Olsen chose to receive her winnings as a one-time lump-sum payment of $616,700.

She purchased the winning ticket at the Publix located at 1545 Rock Springs Road in Apopka.

The $5 $1,000,000 CASH STACKS Scratch-Off game offers players the chance to win prizes up to $1 million and features more than $48 million in total cash prizes.

According to the Florida Lottery, scratch-off games accounted for approximately 74% of ticket sales during fiscal year 2024-2025.
