PUTNAM, CT – A Powerball ticket sold at K B Mart LLC in Putnam has landed a Moosup resident a $50,000 prize, according to Connecticut Lottery records released Tuesday.
The winner, identified as Trina A, matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball in a recent drawing to secure the $50,000 prize.
The winning ticket was part of the nationwide Powerball draw, which offers nine ways to win and jackpots that frequently reach into the hundreds of millions.
Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. The Connecticut Lottery did not release the exact drawing date linked to the win.
K B Mart LLC now joins the list of retailers that have sold winning tickets valued at $50,000 or more in 2025.
