BRONX, N.Y. — A Queens man has been indicted on murder and other charges for fatally stabbing a Bronx woman inside her apartment while her three children were nearby, Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced Wednesday.
Lamont Wilson, 46, is charged with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the December 6, 2024, killing of 38-year-old Britney Webb in her Highbridge apartment.
“The defendant, who was a friend of the victim, allegedly attacked her during a dispute, stabbing her multiple times with her three young children in the apartment,” Clark said.
According to investigators, Wilson arrived at Webb’s apartment on Macombs Road around 3:30 a.m. and got into an argument with her. Webb locked herself and her 5-year-old daughter in a bedroom, but Wilson allegedly broke through the door and stabbed her 15 times before fleeing.
Wilson was arrested in a nearby building and has been remanded; he is scheduled to appear in court on May 13.
