CLARKSTOWN, NY — The Clarkstown Police Department has announced a temporary closure of the railroad crossing on Gilchrest Rd, from Monday, April 22 to Thursday, April 25. This closure will affect the section between Stern Place and Sasson Terrace in Valley Cottage.

The closure is necessary to allow CSX to perform construction upgrades at the crossing.
