NEW YORK, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying and locating a man wanted in connection with an attempted rape that occurred on Thursday, September 5, 2024, in the 67th Precinct.
At approximately 6:30 a.m., a 75-year-old woman was approached by an unidentified male near the intersection of Tilden Avenue and Brooklyn Avenue. The suspect attempted to sexually assault her but fled the scene on foot, heading westbound on Tilden Avenue. The victim was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County, where she is in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a male with a slim build and medium complexion, last seen wearing a black hoodie, a brown T-shirt, gray pants, and sneakers.
Anyone with information about this individual is encouraged to contact the NYPD.
