Red Light Cameras Go Live in Bensalem Township

BENSALEM, PA – The Bensalem Township Police Department announced that their Automated Red Light Enforcement Program will officially go live tonight at 12:01 AM. This initiative aims to enhance road safety by reducing red light violations through automated enforcement.

The cameras are installed at key intersections throughout the township, where they will monitor vehicles passing through red lights. The registered owners of vehicles that are caught violating the red light rules will receive citations in the mail.

Motorists are reminded to adhere to traffic signals and laws to ensure safety for all road users. The Bensalem Township Police emphasize that the goal of this program is not just to issue penalties but to encourage safer driving behaviors and reduce traffic-related incidents.
