Report: Man who lost his Bitcoin password could lose $220 million and he has only 2 login attempts left

According to a report in Entrepreneur on Thursday, a man who forgot and lost the password to his $220 million Bitcoin account has two login attempts left before he loses his money and gets locked out.   Entrepreneur reports, “Of the existing 18.5 million bitcoin, about 20 percent, which is currently worth around $ 140 billion, appear to be in lost or stranded wallets.”

Stefan Thomas is a German programmer living in San Francisco and cannot access his 7,002 bitcoin.
