NEWARK, NJ-As promised ventilators from the national stockpile have been released by President Donald J. Trump and have arrived in New Jersey, according to Hackensack Meridian Health.

The hospital network received 109 ventilators.

According to the hospital, “We’ve received our first shipment of 109 ventilators from the national stockpile. On behalf of the patients here at Hackensack Meridian Health, we are grateful to Governor Phil Murphy, POTUS for their efforts. We continue to scour the globe to find the equipment needed to care for our patients. More is needed and our pursuit never stops. #stayhome #healthcareheroes.”
