Reward Offered for Information on D.C. Robbery Suspects

WASHINGTON, DC—Local authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying three individuals involved in a robbery.

On Wednesday at about 11:30 p.m., a man was assaulted and robbed by two males and a female shortly after leaving the Gallery Place Metro Station. The trio accosted the victim, inquiring if he possessed any drugs, and subsequently attacked him at the intersection of 7th Street and Massachusetts Avenue, Northwest, taking his backpack.

The incident was recorded by a nearby surveillance camera.

The victim received medical treatment at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. D.C. Metro Police Department urges anyone with information about the suspects to contact them at (202) 727-9099 or send a tip via text to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
