Riverdale, MD – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in Riverdale, identifying 38-year-old Jeiver Pozuelos Cervantes of Hyattsville as the victim. A reward of up to $25,000 has been announced for information leading to an arrest and indictment related to the case.
On Thursday, at approximately 6:40 am, patrol officers were alerted by a citizen near Veterans Parkway and Riverdale Road about an unresponsive man on the roadside. Upon investigation, the victim was found with gunshot wounds and was declared dead at the scene.
