Road Closure Alert: Old Bridge Turnpike Detour Information

The East Brunswick Police Department has announced the closure of Old Bridge Turnpike northbound, beginning on Monday, April 22nd. The closure is necessary for sewer repairs in South River and is expected to last approximately two weeks.

Detours will be in place to guide drivers around the closure, with commercial vehicles and trucks rerouted to Racetrack Road onto Route 18 northbound. Drivers are advised to exercise caution in the area, expect significant traffic delays, and consider planning an alternative route to allow for extra travel time.
