Road Closure on Winslow Road in Monroe Township Announced for Upcoming Weeks

August 25, 2024

MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J. — The Monroe Township Police Department has announced the closure of Winslow Road/W. Fleming Pike between the County Line and Route 73 for roadwork that will span the next two weeks. The closure is set to take place from Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., during the first week, and from Tuesday to Friday during the second week.

Residents of Monroe Township are advised to use Winslow Road only for local traffic, as the road will be closed on the Winslow Township side. Despite the closure, Exit 33 of the Atlantic City Expressway will remain open. However, motorists exiting the expressway will be required to turn westbound (right) at the top of the ramp, as the road will be inaccessible between the exit and Route 73 near Mr. Bills.

The Monroe Township Police Department has advised residents and commuters to plan their routes accordingly during the closure period. Any questions or concerns regarding the roadwork can be directed to the department at 856-728-9800, Ext. 546.
