NORFOLK, VA—A road rage incident involving gunfire occurred on Thursday evening near the Norfolk/Hampton line at the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel. According to the Virginia State Police, the incident happened when a passenger in a dark-colored truck fired a shot at a dark-gray Jeep SUV traveling east on Interstate 64.

The driver of the Jeep, a male, sustained a non-life-threatening injury and is currently receiving treatment at Norfolk General Hospital. Investigators are actively seeking information regarding the incident and have specifically requested details about a dark-colored Toyota Tacoma believed to be involved.
