Stafford man arrested after stopping on I-95 entrance ramp
Stafford, VA – A Stafford man was arrested Thursday afternoon after deputies found him stopped in a lane of travel near the northbound I-95 entrance on Warrenton Road.
Deputy F. A. Martinez located the vehicle around 2:28 p.m. on Feb. 13 and was assisted by Deputy R. A. Kehoe. The driver showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody following field sobriety tests.
William Wilson, 60, of Stafford, was charged with driving under the influence with an elevated blood alcohol content and stopping in a roadway. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober and released on an unsecured bond.
