WASHINGTON, D.C. — A robbery investigation is underway after an incident was reported Sunday afternoon in downtown Washington, according to a crime alert.

The robbery was reported around 12:54 p.m. in the 600 block of K Street NW.

Officials said the suspect is described as a Black male in his 30s, about 6 feet tall with a slim build and dark complexion. He was last seen wearing all black clothing and pink headphones.

Authorities advised residents not to approach the suspect and to contact police immediately if he is seen.
