GLEN BURNIE, MD – A robbery incident was reported in Glen Burnie on the evening of June 24, 2024, which resulted in a 53-year-old man sustaining injuries. Authorities were alerted around 8:45 p.m. and met the victim at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
The victim recounted that two unidentified males assaulted and robbed him around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Phirne Road and Glen Mar Road. During the robbery, the victim was stabbed with an unknown object, causing non-life-threatening injuries.
The assailants managed to escape with the victim’s wallet and cell phone. Eastern District detectives are actively investigating the case and encourage anyone with information to contact them at 410-222-6145 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
