Robbery in the Bronx, Man Held Up at Knifepoint

NEW YORK, July 23, 2024 — A 31-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint early Tuesday morning in the Bronx, according to police reports.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 a.m. in front of 247 East 198th Street. The victim was approached by two unidentified individuals who displayed a knife and forcibly took his wallet, which contained about $150, as well as his cell phone.

The suspects fled on foot, heading southbound on Briggs Avenue. The victim was not injured during the robbery.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
