Robbery Reported at Arundel Mills Circle Costco

HANOVER, Md. — Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in the parking lot of a Costco near Arundel Mills Circle late Friday night.

Officers responded to the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Circle around 9:45 p.m. after a 34-year-old man reported being robbed. The victim told police he was approached by an Asian male in his mid-30s who asked for money.

The victim initially agreed to provide the suspect with money, but the situation escalated when the suspect forcefully took the cash, leading to a brief struggle. The victim sustained minor injuries during the altercation.

Western District Detectives are handling the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives or provide tips anonymously through the Anne Arundel County Police Tip Line.

Authorities are continuing to seek information to identify the suspect.
