The top-prize ticket was sold at Tops Markets at 1601 Penfield Road in Rochester.
The ticket hit the top prize in the Aug. 22 TAKE 5 evening drawing and is worth $31,500.50.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of 1 through 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
New York Lottery draw-game prizes can be claimed for up to one year from the date of the drawing.
The New York Lottery reported contributing $3.8 billion to public schools across New York State during the 2023-24 fiscal year.
