One ticket hit the top prize in the evening drawing
ROCHESTER, NY — A stop at a Rochester Wegmans Kwik Fill delivered a top-prize lottery score after the store sold the only winning TAKE 5 ticket for the Aug. 21 evening drawing, landing a $33,192 prize, the New York Lottery announced.
The top-prize ticket was sold at Wegmans Kwik Fill, located at 336 Buffalo Road in Rochester.
The ticket was the only top-prize winner announced for that evening’s TAKE 5 drawing and is worth $33,192.
TAKE 5 players select numbers from a field of 1 through 39. The New York Lottery holds drawings twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Lottery draw-game prizes may be claimed for up to one year from the date of the drawing.
The New York Lottery said it contributed $3.8 billion to public schools across New York State during the 2023-24 fiscal year.
