Rockville City Police Investigating After Two Stabbed at Trinbrook Metro Station

Rockville, MD – The Rockville City Police Department (RCPD) responded to a stabbing incident at the Twinbrook Metro station shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Monday evening. An adult male was approached and stabbed by an unidentified suspect. The Metro Transit Police are managing the investigation of this incident.

A separate stabbing occurred a few minutes later in the 1500 block of Rockville Pike, near the metro station. Another adult male victim was found with a stab wound to the back. Both victims were transported to local hospitals and are being treated for injuries that are not life-threatening.

The suspect in these incidents is described as an African American male wearing all black clothing and currently remains at large. A significant law enforcement presence is expected in the area as the suspect search continues.

RCPD investigators are collaborating with Metro Transit Police on the case. Surveillance footage from the vicinity is being reviewed. Community members are urged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to 9-1-1 immediately.
