Separate Bridgeport Shootings Leave Two in Stable Condition

BRIDGEPORT, CT – Bridgeport Police are currently investigating two separate shootings that occurred over the weekend, leaving two individuals in stable condition in local hospitals.

The first incident occurred early Sunday morning around 1:15 a.m. in the 100 block of William Street, where a 43-year-old Shelton man was attacked. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his legs and contusions to the head. The attacker, described as an unknown male wearing all black clothing and a black mask, fled the scene.

An hour later, Bridgeport Police officers patrolling Main and Gold streets heard gunfire. Running towards the sound, they found a 31-year-old Derby man with multiple gunshot wounds on Chapel Street.
