Serious Injuries Reported in Gloucester Township Head-On Collision

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ—A severe two-vehicle collision on Erial-Blenheim Road late Tuesday night resulted in serious injuries and significant vehicular damage, according to the Gloucester Township Police Department.

Responding shortly before midnight on Tuesday, police officers discovered a dramatic scene with both vehicles sustaining heavy damages; one had even overturned. The crash necessitated the extraction of a driver from the overturned vehicle. Two drivers and one passenger were injured in the incident and have been transported to local hospitals for treatment.

The accident prompted the closure of Erial-Blenheim Road between Church Street and Black Horse Pike for several hours as the Gloucester Township Police Serious Crash Investigation Team conducted a thorough investigation.

Emergency response teams from Station 84 Blackwood Fire Company, Virtua Paramedics, and Inspira Basic Life Support were also present at the site, providing necessary assistance to manage the situation.
