Severn Police Investigate Early Morning Drive-by Shooting

SEVERN, MD – A contact shooting incident occurred early yesterday morning around 5:22 AM near the intersection of Annapolis Road and Disney Road in Severn. A 49-year-old man reported being shot in the leg by gunshots fired from a passing sedan while he was walking in the area.

The victim did not immediately realize he had been shot and there is currently no identified crime scene. He was transported to Shock Trauma with a non-life-threatening injury. The Western District detectives are actively investigating the shooting and searching the area for any potential evidence.
