Severn Woman Arrested for Assault in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A tense situation unfolded in Glen Burnie on March 16 when police were called to the 7800 block of Tall Pines Court around 4:30 p.m. for a report of an assault involving a firearm. An adult female was accused of pointing a .38 caliber handgun at another adult female and threatening her life.

Authorities responded swiftly, locating and arresting the suspect, identified as 33-year-old Michelle Anita Harrison of Severn, Maryland. The handgun involved in the incident was also recovered by the officers.

Harrison was taken into custody without further incident and is facing charges related to the assault. The Anne Arundel County Police Department has not released further details about what led to the confrontation or the relationship between the two women involved.
