Shelter Hoping Wonderful Dog in Captivity Can Finally Find a Forever Home

FORKED RIVER, NJ – Stella, a six-year-old dog with a heartbreaking past, has been waiting for over a year at the Associated Humane Popcorn Park Shelter in Forked River, New Jersey, for someone to recognize her as the perfect companion.

Described as an embodiment of perfection, Stella’s only requirement is a home without other pets. Her journey began in December of 2022, when her previous owner abandoned her in a cruel manner.

Despite this, Stella’s focus remains on receiving love and attention from anyone willing to offer it. She is celebrated for her exemplary behavior, friendliness, house-training, and loving nature. The shelter expresses hope that 2024 will be the year Stella finds her forever home and encourages interested individuals to contact them for more information on adopting this exceptional dog.
