QUEENS, NYA dispute in Queens escalates into violence, resulting in one person being shot in the arm, authorities report.

On Friday, at a residence on 243rd Street, a verbal altercation between an unidentified man and a 49-year-old resulted in the latter being shot. The incident occurred around 5:20 PM. Following the initial shot, the assailant fired again as the victim attempted to flee but missed. The suspect then left the scene on foot.

The victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition. Police are searching for a male suspect with a dark complexion, medium build, and black hair, last seen wearing a black jacket, tan jogging suit, and white sneakers.
