PENN HILLS, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department has provided an update on the investigation into a fatal shooting outside the World Class Tavern in Penn Hills. The incident, which occurred at approximately 10:31 pm on March 7th, resulted in the death of a 32-year-old male victim who suffered a chest gunshot wound.

Detectives have established that a physical altercation outside the tavern led to the shooting. The individual responsible for the incident has been identified, and authorities are currently collaborating with the district attorney’s office to press charges.

The Homicide Unit of the Allegheny County Police Department was called to assist with the investigation immediately following the report of the shooting in the 600 block of Long Road.

The victim was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The ongoing investigation aims to provide clarity and justice in the wake of the tragic event.
