Reynoldsburg lottery player wins $100K in weekend Powerball drawing

Reynoldsburg, OH – A Powerball ticket sold at a Reynoldsburg retailer turned into a six-figure payday in Saturday’s drawing, with the winner earning $100,000 thanks to the game’s Power Play feature.

The ticket was purchased at Winners Corner, located at 2036 Baltimore-Reynoldsburg Road, for the December 27 drawing. It matched four out of five white balls plus the red Powerball, a $50,000 win that was doubled to $100,000 because of the 2x Power Play multiplier.

The overall odds of matching that specific number combination are roughly 1 in 913,129.

Powerball is played three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m., with ticket sales ending nightly at 10:00 p.m. The jackpot for the next drawing is estimated at $33 million.

Since its inception, the Ohio Lottery has provided more than $34 billion to support public education across the state.
