Six Johnson City businesses cited for serving alcohol to underage buyers

JOHNSON CITY, NY – Johnson City Police reported six businesses have been cited for selling alcohol to underage patrons.

The Johnson City Police Department issued the following release:

Recently, the JCPD conducted a sting operation focusing on illegal sales of alcoholic beverages to people under 21 years of age. Our goal is to crackdown on underage drinking by ensuring local retail stores are complying with New York State’s Alcohol Beverage Control laws. The sting involved the use of an underage person who made attempts to purchase alcohol at the following locations in Johnson City. ?? ??? ???? ??????? ?? ?????? ???? ??? ????????? ???????? ???? ??? ???? ?? ??????? ??? ???? ?? ??????? ?? ??? ?????????? ?????????.
