Six Men Sought in Webster Avenue Assault

NEW YORK — Police are searching for six unidentified men who allegedly assaulted a 26-year-old man in front of 1417 Webster Avenue on Monday, August 26, 2024. The incident occurred around 4 p.m., when the group approached the victim and demanded money.

When the victim refused to comply, the suspects reportedly punched him in the face and kicked him in the back before fleeing the scene on foot. Emergency Medical Services responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was treated for his injuries. He is currently in stable condition.

The six men being sought are described as being approximately 20 to 30 years old.

The first individual is described as having a medium build and medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, light gray shorts, and white sneakers. The second individual has a medium build and dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a black durag, a yellow T-shirt, and blue jeans. The third individual is described as having a slim build and medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a black surgical mask, a white T-shirt, light gray sweatpants, and light gray sneakers.

The fourth suspect has a medium build and dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers. The fifth suspect, also with a medium build and medium complexion, was last seen wearing a black durag, a black hoodie, blue jeans, and white sneakers. The sixth individual has a medium build and dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, black jeans, and black and white sneakers.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the identities or whereabouts of the suspects to come forward as the investigation continues.
