QUEENS, NY – Police are searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman on a northbound E train Wednesday evening as it approached the Forest Hills–71 Avenue subway station.
Investigators said the incident occurred around 6:35 p.m. on November 26 when a 21-year-old woman was asleep on the train and woke up to find an unidentified man squeezing her buttocks.
The suspect immediately exited the train at the Forest Hills–71 Avenue station and fled in an unknown direction.

The victim remained onboard and continued traveling north. No physical injuries were reported.
Suspect description released
Police described the suspect as a man with curly hair and a goatee, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers.
