TAKE 5 top prize ticket sold in Yonkers

Yonkers, NY – A neighborhood shop along Yonkers Avenue joined the list of lucky locations after selling a top-prize TAKE 5 ticket in the Feb. 2 evening drawing.

The New York Lottery said a ticket worth $10,058.50 was sold at Vibrant Star, located at 750 Yonkers Ave. The ticket matched all required numbers to secure the top prize.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a pool of one through 39, with drawings televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Winners may claim prizes of any amount up to one year from the drawing date.

Lottery officials reported that proceeds from ticket sales continue to support education, with $3.6 billion contributed to New York public schools during the 2024–2025 fiscal year.
