Sparrows Point Man Wins $50K Plans to Pay Off Vehicle

Sparrows Point, MD—A Baltimore County resident is celebrating after winning a $50,000 top prize from a Bonus Match 5 ticket.

Mike, a longtime lottery player of over 20 years, purchased his winning ticket on October 14 from Edgemere Convenience on North Point Road. The next morning, while using the My Lottery Rewards app, Mike saw the message, “See retailer,” along with animated confetti, signaling his big win.

He returned to the store, where the manager confirmed his $50,000 prize. Mike plans to use the winnings to pay off his vehicle and settle bills, with the remaining amount going into savings.

Edgemere Convenience will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
