Special Edition Cashword Top Prize Won in Newark

NEWARK, OH – Ronald Terry of Newark is the lucky winner of the $300,000 top prize on the Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off, Special Edition Cashword.

Terry will receive $216,000 after mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent.    

He purchased his ticket at Route 13 Duchess at 1919 Mount Vernon Road in Newark.

According to lottery officials, “Special Edition Cashword is a $5 scratch-off with a top prize of $300,000. As of June 24, 2022, there are two top prizes remaining in the game.”
