Pleasant Hills, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a stabbing incident in the 200 block of Hillock Lane. This followed a request for assistance earlier on Tuesday.

At 7:01 a.m., County 9-1-1 received a call about a reported stabbing at the location. Responders discovered an adult female with multiple stab wounds. She was transported to a local hospital, where her condition was listed as critical but stable, and detectives have begun their investigation.

A 78-year-old man was apprehended at the scene. Detectives are collaborating with the district attorney’s office to determine appropriate charges.
