Stafford County Sheriff Investigates Olde Forge Shooting

Stafford County, VA – The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred last night in the Olde Forge subdivision.

On July 4th at 10:16 PM, deputies responded to reports of a shooting on Anvil Road. Upon arrival, they found numerous shell casings and several vehicles damaged by bullets. While canvassing the area for victims and suspects, deputies were informed of a gunshot victim at a local hospital.

The victim, an adult male, sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
