Stafford Township Police Department has been honored with the title of “The Fittest Agency” at the Second Annual Manalapan Township Fitness Competition, a highly competitive event involving various first responder teams.
The contest put the strength and fitness of four-person teams to the test, including participants from active military, as well as state, local, county, and federal first responders. The Stafford Township Police Department emerged victorious, showcasing their physical capabilities and team coordination.
In a statement on their official Facebook page, the Stafford Township Police Department expressed their gratitude and appreciation to their competitors. “We would also like to personally thank Manchester Police for their exemplary display of humbly accepting a loss. Being gracious in defeat requires a certain strength of character that we have never had to endure. Thank you for showing us how it’s done,” the department stated.
The accolade not only highlights the physical preparedness of the Stafford Township Police Department but also fosters a sense of community and sportsmanship among first responders.
