STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford lottery player won $30,000 after purchasing a winning Mega Millions ticket at Alltown Greenwich N #822 in Greenwich.

The winning ticket, sold on February 4, matched several numbers to secure the $30,000 prize in one of the recent Mega Millions drawings.

Alltown Greenwich N #822, the retailer where the ticket was purchased, will receive a bonus for selling the winning ticket as part of Connecticut Lottery’s retailer incentive program.

Mega Millions tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands, with drawings held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m.

Lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets carefully and claim their prizes according to Connecticut Lottery guidelines.
