Stampede Rodeo brings bull riding, barrel racing, and beach thrills to Wildwood beach

December 16, 2024

WILDWOOD, N.J. — The Stampede Rodeo & Bulls on the Beach will charge into the Wildwoods next spring, offering two days of high-energy performances featuring bull riding, barrel racing, and family-friendly entertainment. The event is scheduled for Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17, 2025, on the beach at East Baker Avenue.

Presented by Event Tech LLC and Red Eye Rodeo Co., the rodeo will include a range of attractions, from girls’ barrel racing and trick riding to the centerpiece event: bull riding, a sport described by organizers as “the world’s most dangerous.” The Southeastern Bull Riding Association (SEBRA) sanctions the performances, ensuring top-tier competition.

Both shows will begin at 7 p.m., with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. Visitors arriving early can enjoy the Western Midway, featuring food vendors, western-themed merchandise, and local beer from MudHen Brewery. Families can also participate in pre-show activities such as sheep riding and stick horse racing for children, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Admission starts at $25 for adults and $12 for children under 12, with an option to upgrade to a VIP experience that includes premier seating, a lanyard, and a post-event meet-and-greet with the entertainers. Comedian Dave “Showtime” Meyer and Jacob “the Amishman” will also be on hand to add laughs to the evening.

This action-packed rodeo weekend promises to bring the excitement of the Wild West to the Wildwoods, blending beachside fun with a thrilling spectacle for all ages.
