State Line Market sells big-ticket winner in Maryland

$50,000 Bonus Match 5 ticket sold at Silver Spring market

SILVER SPRING, Md. — A lucky Maryland Lottery player has won $50,000 after matching all five numbers in Monday night’s Bonus Match 5 drawing, marking the game’s 10th top-prize win of the year.

The winning ticket for the May 19 drawing was sold at State Line Market, located at 7817 Eastern Avenue in Silver Spring. The Montgomery County retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The numbers drawn were 3, 11, 19, 23, and 34, with the Bonus Ball number 28. The winner has 182 days from the draw date to claim the prize.

Bonus Match 5 is a nightly Maryland Lottery game in which players choose five numbers from a pool of 1 to 39. An additional Bonus Ball is drawn from the remaining numbers to increase chances for secondary prizes.

The prize must be claimed either by mail or in person at the Maryland Lottery’s headquarters in Baltimore, where appointments are required for claims exceeding $25,000.
