Investigators say a long-term drug probe led to the seizure of suspected cocaine, firearms and a stolen weapon.
WILMINGTON, DE — A long-term drug investigation culminated Monday with Delaware State Police raiding a Wilmington home, where detectives said they seized suspected cocaine, four firearms—including one reported stolen—and arrested a 45-year-old man on multiple felony charges.
The search warrant was executed July 27 at a residence in the 400 block of Carver Drive by detectives with the Delaware State Police Special Investigations Unit, assisted by the Special Operations Response Team.
According to investigators, Ikiem Hall, 45, was taken into custody without incident inside the residence.
During the search, detectives recovered approximately 174 grams of suspected cocaine, four firearms, one of which had been reported stolen, ammunition, a digital scale and other drug paraphernalia.
Hall was transported to Troop 2, where he was charged with multiple felony offenses, including four counts each of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person previously convicted of a violent felony, and possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited while also possessing a controlled substance.
He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance in a Tier 3 quantity, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a Tier 3 quantity, possession of ammunition by a person prohibited due to a prior violent crime or felony, and receiving a stolen firearm.
Following arraignment in Justice of the Peace Court, Hall was committed to the Delaware Department of Correction on a $293,000 cash bond.
The charges are allegations, and Hall is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
