Structure fire damages Warren Township home, no injuries reported

WARREN TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A house fire broke out Friday night in Warren Township, drawing emergency response from multiple fire departments across the area, officials said.

The blaze was reported around 8:55 p.m. following several 911 calls about a structure fire on Avon Road, according to the Warren Township Police Department.

Firefighters from the Warren Township Volunteer Fire Department and neighboring towns responded to the scene. Crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire before it spread beyond the single affected home.

Authorities confirmed that the residence was unoccupied at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported among residents or emergency personnel.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and officials have not released the extent of the property damage.

“The fire was later extinguished, and contained to only the one home,” according to police.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
