NEW YORK, NY — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify an individual connected to a grand larceny incident at the 14th Street-Union Square subway station. The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at approximately 5:10 pm.

According to the victim, a 53-year-old female, an unknown individual removed her bag containing a wallet while she was inside the station. The individual then fled to an unknown location. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
