The Suffern Police Department has issued warnings and road closures.
Due to the heavy rain conditions last night, the following areas are closed to traffic. Memorial Drive off of Wayne Ave is still flooded, residents & commuters are asked to avoid the area. The ball fields at Pat Malone Drive and Ed Fagan Drive are completely flooded.
We are asking for everyone to avoid this area as well.We want to remind the public to avoid driving down any flooded roadway, unknown hazards can be hidden under the water. If you need any assistance please don’t hesitate to contact the police station.
