Surveillance Footage Captures Vehicle in D.C. Shooting Incident

WASHINGTON, D.C.—D.C. Metro Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle connected to an incident involving the unlawful discharge of a firearm. The event occurred on Monday, April 15, at 2:48 p.m. in the 200 block of 14th Street, Southeast.

First District officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they discovered evidence of gunfire, although no injuries were reported. Surveillance footage captured images of the suspect’s vehicle involved in the incident.

Authorities urge anyone with information about the vehicle or the incident to contact the police at (202) 727-9099. Alternatively, tips can be sent via text to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The police advise the public not to approach the suspect or vehicle but to leave handling to law enforcement.
