Surveillance video reveals suspect in D.C. robbery

Washington, D.C. — Authorities are seeking help to identify a suspect involved in a robbery on U Street in Northwest DC, where a victim’s personal property was stolen in the early hours of October 6.

At approximately 12:25 a.m., Third District officers responded to the 900 block of U Street, Northwest, following reports of a robbery. The suspect reportedly snatched the victim’s belongings before fleeing the scene.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is encouraged to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or anonymously text tips to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
