Dressing room scare as suspect accused of recording woman

ROCKVILLE, Md. — Police are searching for a man accused of secretly recording a woman inside a store dressing room in Montgomery County.

The incident happened January 16 at an H&M store on Grand Park Avenue in Rockville.

Investigators say a woman was trying on clothes when she heard a noise coming from an adjacent dressing room.

When she looked, she saw a man standing on a chair and holding a cellphone over the divider wall.

The suspect then fled the scene.

Detectives later reviewed surveillance footage and released images of the suspect in hopes the public can help identify him.

He is described as a white male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds, with a medium build. He was wearing glasses, a black beanie, a black leather jacket with white and brown detailing, dark jeans and Adidas shoes.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Tips can be submitted anonymously through Crime Solvers of Montgomery County, and a reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
