Suspect arrested after throwing rock through Robbinsville taco restaurant window

Robbinsville, NJ – A suspect was taken into custody Saturday evening after multiple witnesses reported an incident at Taco Rito. The suspect allegedly threw a rock through the restaurant’s front door and side window around 7:58 PM.

Witnesses described the suspect as a heavyset black male wearing all black and a black face mask with a white skull design. Police deployed a drone and canvassed nearby areas in an attempt to locate him but were initially unsuccessful.

At approximately 9:32 PM, a communications officer monitoring traffic cameras spotted a person fitting the description on Route 33 and North Commerce Square. Patrol units responded and detained Hassan K. Hill, 26, without incident.

During questioning, Hill admitted to the act and indicated a bias motivation. He was transported to Robbinsville Police Headquarters for processing.

The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Bias Crime Unit was notified, and a warrant complaint was authorized. Hill faced charges of bias intimidation and criminal mischief.

The Robbinsville Township Police Department urges community members to report any bias-related incidents to the department.
