Suspect Arrested for Brighton Larceny Incident

Boston, MA – Detectives from District D-14 arrested Ji Li, 44, of Boston in connection with a larceny incident. The arrest occurred on Friday at approximately 1:00 PM.

Detectives saw Li walking on Massachusetts Avenue near St. Botolph Street. The suspect, wanted for Larceny from a Building and Attempt to Commit a Crime, was approached and handcuffed.

Li is expected to be arraigned in Brighton District Court. The arrest follows a theft incident that took place on Sunday, December 15, at the Corrib Pub in Brighton.

The theft was reported on Monday, December 16, and occurred during the Allston-Brighton Toy Drive. During the event, the suspect allegedly searched guests’ belongings and stole a purse.
